Agriculture

Our farmers are the best stewards of the land. As a 6th generation farmer in Taylor County I will be a strong advocate for the producers and family farms that provide so much of the nation’s food supply. In the Iowa House, I’ll stand up for them and work to ensure they have the tools and support to prosper.

Second Amendment

As a lifetime member of the Iowa State Trapshooting Association and the Amateur Trapshooting Association I am a strong advocate of the Second Amendment. Practicing responsible gun ownership for sport, hunting, and protection is your right and I will protect that right.

Economy

We must eliminate bureaucratic regulations that stifle economic growth and allow our local business to thrive.

Education

Education opportunities are the key to making sure our kids are prepared for their future. I want to encourage programs that expand the opportunities available at every level. Increasing access to hands on learning and on the job experience is important. Parents are a vital part of a students education and giving parents access to what is best for each child’s specific educational needs is a priority.

Life

Protecting Life and the Rights of the Unborn is incredibly important to me. I want to give those without a voice a chance to be heard.

Taxes

Our legislature made record tax cuts this year and I look forward to continuing that progress keeping more of your hard earned dollars where they belong- in your pocket.
